PROPERTY LOCATION: Approx. 52 N 3rd W
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: High Residential
CURRENT ZONING: Low Density Residential 2 (LDR2) and Mixed Use (MU)
PROPOSED ZONING: High Density Residential 1 (HDR1)
AUTHORITY: §1.03.010 (A) “The Commission shall have the authority to consider and
recommend to the Council ordinances, amendments thereto, and repeal of
ordinances affecting zoning, planning, and building within the City of Rexburg”
Informa�on to consider with this request:
• A residence is located on one
parcel, while the other parcels are
vacant.
• The proper�es are located near 1st
N and 3rd W.
• The rezone request applies to
approximately 2.16 acres.
• Mixed Use (MU) is zoned to the
South and East. Low Density
Residen�al 2 (LDR2) is zoned to the
East. Both Low Density Residen�al
2 (LDR2) and High Density
Residen�al 1 (HDR1) are zoned to
the North.
• A total of 45 hearing no�fica�ons were mailed to surrounding property owners.
• Staff asks that the Planning & Zoning Commission consider recommending that City
Council approves the applica�on.
