The first truck arrived at the same time that I was performing a test for a different pour and by the time I finished the different pour, the first truck had already finished pouring. I received a sample from the second truck after approximately 5 yards had been expelled from the truck. The truck stopped pouring and waited for the results of the test. With the sample, I performed a concrete field test and made test specimens. He mentioned that concrete was about an hour late so I had time to look over the forms and rebar. The rebar appeared to be in accordance with the specs and the forms were free of debris and appeared to be structurally sound. Eventually the concrete showed up and I was able to test for air, slump, and temp. They were within spec and I reported that back to the appropriate parties.
