SCOPE OF WORK: RELOCATE FIRE SPRINKLERS TO ACCOMMODATE A NEW CEILING
LAYOUT. EXISTING FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS HYDRAULICALLY
DESIGNED TO PROTECT A HAZARD CLASSIFICATION. NO CHANGES
TO HAZARD CLASSIFICATION WILL OCCUR AS PART OF THIS TENANT
IMPROVEMENT. EXISTING FIRE SPRINKLER RISERS, MAINS AND BRANCH LINES WILL
REMAIN AND WILL BE USED TO SUPPLY RELOCATED FIRE SPRINKLERS. EXISTING FIRE
SYSTEM HAS ALREADY BEEN HYDRAULICALLY PROVEN TO PROTECT THE HAZARD
CLASSIFICATION PRESENT.
PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved with comments
1. When a system modification affects more than 20 sprinklers, the new portion should be
isolated and tested at not less than 200 psi for 2 hours. (NFPA 13, 29.7.1.1)
2. When backflow prevention devices are installed on existing systems, hydraulic analysis
shall be completed. (NFPA 13, 29.1.3)
3. No RED on plans
4. Leave room in the bottom right corner for stamp.
