HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2014 - 05 Airport Tie DownsResolution #2014-05 Rexburg -Madison Airport Board Whereas, the Rexburg -Madison Airport Board is charged with the maintenance, operations and management of the Rexburg -Madison Airport; and Whereas, said maintenance, operations and management includes the efficient and equitable use of all areas currently within the approved Airport Layout Plan; and Whereas, the area commonly used for temporary tie -down of aircraft is within the approved Airport Layout Plan; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that in order to manage the tie -down area in an equitable and efficient manner, any aircraft within the tie -down area for a period of 90 days or more without being utilized shall be notified of the policy restricting use of the tie -down area for temporary operational aircraft, and shall be given 30 days to remove the aircraft. If after 30 days from notice, the aircraft remains in the tie -down area, the Rexburg -Madison Airport Board shall be entitled to collect a tie -down cee of $100.00 per month until the aircraft is removed.
