HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2014 - 17 FAA Grant ApplicationC IT Y OF 1—EX—BUR America:, Funnily Community RESOLUTION NO. 2014-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, AS CO-SPONSOR OF THE REXBURG- MADISON COUNTY AIRPORT, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE APLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE AND THE STANDARD DOT TITLE VI ASSURANCES AND ADOPTING AND RATIFYING THE REPRESENTATIONS AND ASSURANCES CONTAINED THEREIN; THIS RESOLUTION, made on the date hereinafter set forth by the City Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, a municipal corporation under Idaho Law, hereinafter referred to as the "Ci ty. WHEREAS, the City, as a Sponsor of the REXBURG-MADISON COUNTY AIRPORT, will and have submitted projects to the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, for a grant of Federal funds for a project at, or associated with, the REXBURG-MADISON COUNTY AIRPORT. WHEREAS, the City Council hereby authorizes all executions of the Application for Federal Assistance, and Standard DOTTitle VIAssurances, on its behalf, as Co -Sponsor of the REXBURG- MADISON COUNTY AIRPORT, by the Public Works Director of the City of Rexburg. WHEREAS, the City Council hereby adopts and ratifies the representations and assurances contained in the Application for Federal Assistance, and the Standard DOT Title VI Assurances, AFFIRMED AND PASSED by the Rexburg City Council of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, this GTH day of August, 2014.
