BEING PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH,
RANGE 40 EAST OF THE BOISE MERIDIAN, REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO
1. SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS FOR THIS WORK SHALL BE PER CITY OF REXBURG STANDARDS AND ISPWC STANDARDS. THE DETAIL DRAWINGS HEREIN
SUPPLEMENT THE CITY OF REXBURG STANDARDS.
2. BED PIPE IN NATIVE MATERIAL FREE OF ROCKS LARGER THAN 1 INCH IN DIAMETER AS BEDDING. IF ROCKS LARGER THAN 1 INCH ARE PRESENT, USE CRUSHED
AGGREGATE OR SAND AS APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER.
3. ALL DISTANCES AND DATA SHALL BE CHECKED BY THE CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO BID. IN CASE OF CONFLICT THE ENGINEER SHALL BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY SO
THAT CLARIFICATION MAY BE MADE PRIOR TO THE START OF WORK.
4. ELEVATIONS SHOWN ARE TO FINISHED SURFACE OR PIPE INVERT UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RETAIN AND PROTECT OR REMOVE AND REPLACE ALL LANDSCAPING, TREES, UTILITIES, DITCHES, CULVERTS, FENCES, MAILBOXES,
SIGNS, LIGHTPOLES, HEADGATES, AND ALL OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS. ANY DAMAGE DONE BY THE CONTRACTOR TO EXISTING STRUCTURES TO REMAIN,
SHALL BE REPAIRED AT CONTRACTORS EXPENSE.
6. GENERAL LOCATIONS AND SIZES OF EXISTING UTILITIES ARE SHOWN ON THE PLANS. THEY ARE TO BE USED FOR GENERAL INFORMATION ONLY. IT IS THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO NOTIFY THE APPROPRIATE UTILITY COMPANIES WHEN CONSTRUCTION MIGHT INTERFERE WITH NORMAL OPERATION
OF ANY UTILITIES. IT SHALL ALSO BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE APPROPRIATE UTILITY COMPANY FIELD-LOCATE ANY EXISTING UTILITIES
WHICH MIGHT BE AFFECTED BY CONSTRUCTION PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK IN THAT AREA. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING
SERVICE OF EXISTING UTILITIES AND FOR RESTORING ANY UTILITIES DAMAGED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER.
7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING SOURCES FOR GRANULAR MATERIAL, DISPOSAL SITES, AND ANY ADDITIONAL MATERIALS THAT MAY
BE NECESSARY FOR PROPER CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT.
8. IT WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR WATER REQUIRED FOR TESTING, COMPACTION AND DUST CONTROL
MEASURES.
9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE REQUIRED TRAFFIC CONTROL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LATEST EDITION OF THE MANUAL OF UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL
DEVICES.

1.WATER SERVICE IN PROJECT WILL BE PVC.
2.CONSTRUCT WATER SERVICE CONNECTIONS PER ISPWC DETAIL SD-402 INCLUDING METER BOX, PIPING AND FITTINGS UP TO BUT NOT
INCLUDING THE WATER METER.
3.THRUST BLOCKS SHALL BE PLACED AT ALL DIRECTION CHANGES IN THE PRESSURE PIPE PER THE 2020 ISPWC DETAIL SD-403. PROVIDE
TEMPORARY CAPS AND TEMPORARY END THRUST BLOCKS AT ALL TEMPORARY WATERLINE TERMINATION POINTS AS REQUIRED DUE TO
PHASED DEVELOPMENT.
4.COORDINATE ALL METER INSTALLATIONS WITH THE CITY OF REXBURG.
5.WATER PIPE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM SEPARATION DISTANCE OF 10' HORIZONTALLY AND 18" VERTICALLY FROM ANY SANITARY SEWER OR
STORM SEWER MEASURED FROM THE EDGE OF EACH PIPE AS OUTLINED IN THE ISPWC 2008 STANDARD DRAWINGS SD-407.
6. COORDINATE LOCATION OF WATER METERS FOR SPRINKLING SYSTEM WITH OWNER'S SPRINKLER IRRIGATION PLAN.
7. TEST, FLUSH, AND DISINFECT CONSTRUCTED PIPE PER THE 2008 ISPWC SECTIONS 401.3.6 AND 401.3.9.
8. COMPLY STRICTLY TO MANUFACTURER INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS IN REGARDS TO PULLED JOINTS ON THE WATERLINE WORK. USE
STANDARD ELBOWS WHEREVER POSSIBLE IN LIEU OF PULLING JOINTS EVEN IF THE JOINT PULLS ARE WITHIN MANUFACTURE INSTALLATION
TOLERANCES.
9. ALL WATER PIPES SHALL INCLUDE ALL APPURTENANCES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TEES, VALVES, ETC....
10. WATER METERS SHALL BE INSTALLED PER CITY OF REXBURG STANDARDS (BY OTHERS).
11.WATER MAIN VALVES SHALL BE RESILIENT WEDGE GATE VALVES FOR 10" AND SMALLER DIAMETER PIPES AND BUTTERFLY VALVES FOR
LARGER DIAMETER PIPES RATED AT 250 PSI OR GREATER.
1. ALL STORM SEWER PIPING IS TO BE ADS N 12 WT IB PIPE MEETING ASTM F2648 WITH SMOOTH INTERIOR.
2. ALL SEWER SERVICES ARE TO BE 4 IN. SDR 35 PVC.
3. GRADE ALL FINISH SURFACES AWAY FROM MANHOLE LIDS.
4. TEST GRAVITY SEWER PIPE PER ISPWC SECTIONS 501.3.4.
5. CONSTRUCT ALL SANITARY SEWER MANHOLES PER ISPWC 2020 STANDARD DRAWINGS SD-501.
6. ALL PIPE BEDDING TO BE CONSTRUCTED PER ISPWC 2020 STANDARD DRAWINGS SD-301 & SD-302.
7. ALL SANITARY SEWER SERVICE LINES ARE TO BE CONSTRUCTED PER ISPWC 2020 STANDARD DRAWINGS SD-511,
SD-511A, AND SD-512.

SEWER NOTES:
1.ALL NEW ELECTRICAL FACILITIES SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CURRENT ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER SERVICE
POLICY.
2.DEVELOPER SHALL BEAR ALL COSTS TO RELOCATE OR REMOVE EXISTING POWER POLES, LIGHT POLES, ANCHOR GUYS AND
MISCELLANEOUS ELECTRICAL FACILITIES.
3.ALL PVC ELECTRIC CONDUITS SHALL BE PVC SCHEDULE 40. ALL FIBERGLASS CONDUITS SHALL MEET ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER'S
MARKING AND STRENGTH RATING REQUIREMENTS. CONDUIT DIAMETERS SHALL MEET ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER'S DESIGN. ALL
ELBOWS SWEEP RADII SHALL BE 36”, 48” OR 60” DEPENDING ON ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER'S DESIGN.
4.ALL PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CONDUITS SHALL BE PROVIDED AND INSTALLED BY THE DEVELOPER.
5.TRENCH EXCAVATION AND CONDUIT PLACEMENT SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER SERVICE POLICY
SPECIFICATIONS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH OSHA STANDARDS. CONDUIT TRENCH DEPTHS SHALL BE BETWEEN 36” AND 48” (NOT
TO EXCEED 60”) AND INCLUDE THE REQUIRED SAND PLACEMENT BELOW AND ABOVE THE PLACED CONDUIT.
6.THE ENGINEER SHALL PROVIDE ALL STAKING AND LAYOUT OF NEW ELECTRICAL FACILITIES INCLUDING POWER POLES.
7.THE CONTACTOR SHALL RETAIN AND PROTECT ALL EXISTING POWER POLES AND ELECTRICAL FACILITIES DURING CONSTRUCTION.
8.THE DEVELOPER SHALL COORDINATE ALL ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION WITH ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER.
9.CLEARANCE BETWEEN OVERHEAD POWER AND NEW BUILDING STRUCTURES SHALL BE MAINTAINED MEETING THE CURRENT ROCKY
MOUNTAIN POWER SERVICE POLICY.
10.SEE ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER ELECTRICAL SITE PLAN FOR OFF-SITE AND ON-SITE ELECTRICAL LAYOUT AND INSTALLATION DETAILS.
IN THE EVENT THE FIBER OPTIC UTILITY ELECTS TO USE THE SAME TRENCH, THEY MUST MEET NESC UNDERGROUND UTILITY
CLEARANCES.
11.A 15 FOOT WIDE PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT IS PERPETUALLY RESERVED WITHIN EACH LOT ALONG ALL ROAD FRONTAGES FOR THE
USE OF PUBLIC UTILITIES WITHIN THIS SUBDIVISION. NO PERMANENT STRUCTURES, SIDEWALKS, AND DRIVEWAYS SHALL BE
CONSTRUCTED OVER SAID EASEMENT (OTHER THAN CROSSINGS) IN ORDER FOR THE UTILITY COMPANIES TO MAINTAIN.
