TO AMEND THE DEVELOPMENT CODE
FOR THE CITY OF REXBURG
Public Hearin: November 2, 2023, at 6:30 pm to be held before the Rexburg Planning and
Zoning Commission at 35 N 1"E, Rexburg,Madison County,Idaho (#23 00565) to amend the
current DEVELOPMENT CODE (Ordinance 1200) for the City of Rexburg.
It is proposed to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE concerning substantive and
non-substantive items. All proposed modifications to the DEVELOPMENT CODE may be
reviewed at the offices of Planning and Zoning or the City Clerk's office. The proposed
substantive changes amending Development Code Ordinance No.1200 (by section) are
delineated below:

Amend 3.05.110 Location and construction standards for sign types
Repeal 3.05.120 Sign background Area
Repeal 3.05.130 Blade signs
Amend 3.05.140 Freestanding sign requirements and regulations
Repeal 3.05.150 Other signs
Amend 3.05.160 Temporary sign requirements and regulations
Amend 3.05.170 Wall banner requirements and regulations
Amend 3.05.180 Wall sign requirements and regulations
Amend 3.05.190 Sign specifications by zone tables
Repeal 4.03.100, 4.04.110, 4.05.120 Signs in LDR zones
Repeal 11.03.120 Sign regulations in Manufactured Home Community
At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on November 1,2023. This notice is given pursuant to the
provisions of Section 67-6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.
