ORDINANCE NO. 472
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER AND THE
OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO;
PROVIDING WHEN THE ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REXBURG,
IDAHO:
SECTION 1: The Rexburg Standard-Journal Newspapers printed and published in the City of
Rexburg, Idaho, are hereby designated the official newspapers of the City of Rexburg, and such ordinances, notices and publications
as are required by law to be published in a newspaper shall be published in the Rexburg Standard-Journal Newspapers.
SECTION II: The Rexburg Branch of the First Security Bank of Idaho, N. A., Rexburg, Idaho; the
Idaho Bank of Commerce, Rexburg, Idaho and the Rexburg Branch of the Idaho First National Bank, Rexburg, Idaho, are hereby
designated as the official depositories for the funds of the City of Rexburg, Idaho. The City Treasurer is hereby ordered, required and
directed to keep moneys belonging to, or in the care of, the City Treasurer in the above named depositories; provided, however, that
when so authorized by the Mayor and Council, city funds may be, by the Treasurer, invested in securities authorized by law.
SECTION III: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and due publication.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR this 21st day of February,
1968.
