University Blvd (Exit 332) / Main St / State Hwy 33 (Exit 333)
Traffic Signals to be added to all 3 Rexburg Interchanges
US 20 Open During Construction
One interchange on/off ramps open at all times as detour route during construction

East Parkway Corridor Historical Timeline
East Parkway
1979 US-20 Constructed
1979 TMP called for an arterial connecting to Sunrise
2003-4 Completed 2 Public Meetings & 2 Joint work meetings
2004 Rexburg, Sugar, Madison County adopted Joint Resolution of
2004 TMP including East Parkway
2004 TMP recommended East Parkway connection between 2nd W &
2nd E within 5 year CIP
2006 LHTAC grant for alignment study of E Parkway
2009 E Parkway Corridor Public Meetings
2013 E Parkway Plan finalized with recommended alignment
2015 TMP finalized & adopted
2022 TMP established phased projects of East Parkway Corridor

Crest Haven Plat (1977) shows Vista Ave. connecting Crest View Dr. to
Sunrise Dr (similar to Hillview & Westwood Dr.)
Vista Ave. was not originally built out with the subdivision
Therefore, Residents on the south end of Hillview Dr. began purchasing
backyard lots prior to Vista Ave. becoming a cul-de-sac.
Vista Ave. cul-de-sac was built out in 2003-4
South end of platted Vista Ave. vacated in 2006

Sunrise Drive
1977 - Sunrise Drive dedicated with Crest Haven plat
Pre-1992 – East section of Sunrise Drive built, north side of church
2007 – Create LID 36 Approved, it includes the build out extending
Sunrise Dr. to the west
2008 - Sunrise Drive extended to southwest corner of Crest Haven
Subdivision completed
2008 – City funded and built retaining wall
2008 – Final Assessment of LID 36 Approved
