Wrap installation with separator fabric to keep fine‐grained soils
from plugging washed rock
Install infiltrator gallery structure on a bed of washed rock
Connect filtering catch basin to infiltrator structure
Filtering catch basin allows solids to accumulate at the bottom, and
then has a downturned elbow to draw water below where greases
and oils float on the top – all to filter and “clean” the water going
out to the infiltration gallery to substantially reduce plugging and
improve performance
Installation is enveloped with washed rock and separator fabric,
then topsoil is restored above so completed system is functional
but not visible
