Box 21 RIGBY ID. 83442 (208) 745-1105- Office (208) 313-3949 -Ben Cell ben@steelvisionconstruction.com We appreciate your consideration of our application for a new commercial storage building for Fred Baugh, located in the Silver Tip Subdivision. We are aware that the Fire code applies to this project and would like to propose a few things for your consideration on this project. • We built in the same subdivision last year and our previous project was not required to have fire suppression or required to have Fire Storage water available onsite. Because of the history we ordered a new building for a new customer and were unprepared for the newly enforced fire storage water requirements. • We have been to several of the meetings and understand that this is an issue in the county. • We have engaged a fire engineer and are looking into our options for this project. • We have been working with the surrounding landowners and our ultimate goal is to contribute to a deep well in the area that will serve the needs of the area and provide a better long-term solution for the area. We feel that this process will take several weeks to work out all of the details with multiple people in the area. • Our building will deliver next week of 4-25-22 • Our crews have an over -packed summer, and we really can't afford to delay starting this project. • Our building materials are non-combustible materials. • There is an existing pond next to our construction project that would provide adequate fire needs for the summer months. We would like to propose that we would be allowed to start construction on this project, because we are of non-combustible materials, and we are still working on the water storage requirements. We understand that we would not be able to occupy the building until the fire water holding requirements are met or another agreement is made. We also feel that the pond in this subdivision provides adequate fire water for the summer months. We are excited to get the undeveloped ground developed and to have a place for a new business in Madison County. Thank you for yo consideration! Respectfully Submitted Ben Munns-Steel Vision
