During the 2023 update to the Comprehensive Plan, a survey showed that Rexburg citizens still want to preserve the City's rural values, including "items like the ability to house agricultural animals and grew profitable or hobby gardens within city limits.."z ©pen farmland in Rexburg is gradually being replaced by residences. None -the -less, hobby farm activities, especially in stable country neighborhoods, help preserve the City's rural character.
