Foundation configuration provided by Trevor Haslem of SteelVision Construction. 2. Building dimensions and anchor bolt plan shown on Nucor Drawings AB 1 & A132 dated 6/05/2023. 3. Foundation loads from Nucor Report entitled "General Information for Column Base Plate Reactions", Precision Precast, Project Number: U23M0364A, dated 06/02/2023. 4. Exact anchor bolt locations shall be as shown on Nucor Drawings. 5. Concrete 28 -day strength shall be 3000 psi minimum. Slump shall be 3-4.5 in. 6. Reinforcement bars shall be ASTM A615 with Fy = 60,000 psi. 7. Concrete construction per ACI -318. 8. Assumed allowable soil bearing pressure = 2000 psf. 9. Rectangular piers shown on drawings may be replaced with circular piers formed by sonotubes if the reinforcement is the same, the concrete area is equal to that of the rectangular pier, and there is sufficient cover for the reinforcement as required by ACI -318. 10. The "jab" method of placing anchor bolts or vertical reinforcing bars is acceptable if the following conditions are met: a. The anchor bolts and vertical bars are placed when the footing concrete is still fluid enough for it to fill in around the bolts and bars when they are placed and hand vibrated into the correct position as shown on the Behlen drawings and the foundation details. b. The vertical bars are located, relative to the horizontal bars in the footing, as shown on the foundation details. The details show the horizontal bend on the vertical bars going below the horizontal bars in the footing. c. The vertical bars meet the ACI code development length requirements.
