This determination has been made pursuant to Section 206 of the Flood Disaster Protection Am of 1973
(Public Law 93234) and is in accordance with the National Flood Insurance Act of'1968:.is amended
(Title JiM of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Public Law 90.449), 421LS.C. 4001-
4128, and 44 CFR Para 65. Because of the m6diflcations to the FIRM for your community made by this
LOMR, certain additional requirements must be met under Section 1361 of the National Flout ]nmrance
Act of 1969, as amended, whWn 6 monthx from the dam of this letter. Prior to !unary 3, 1997, your
community is required, as a condition of continued eligibility in the NFIP, to adapt or sbow c vitkmce ,of
adoption of floodplain manVement regulations that meet the standards of Section 60.3(c) of the NF111
regulations_ These standards are the minimwn requirements. and do not supersede any Stan: or local

It must be emphasimd that all of the standards specified in Section 60.3(c) of the NFIP regulations must

participation in the NFIP and subject to the prolu'bitions contained in Section 202(a) of the Act as
amended.
