G1.1 Free text Cody Jones : Building Open 1 As per table 601, Exterior bearing walls of a type IIIB need to
have a 2 hour rating. Exterior walls are nonbearing. Structure uses steel frame system.

Exit lighting and exit signs to comply with section 1008 and 1013. General Note #10 added: “Exit lighting
and Exits signs shall comply with Section 1008 and 1013.
As per table C402.1.3 in the IECC, slabs to be insulated 24" below for unheated slab. Per Table C402.1.3
of the IECC, building perimeter shall receive a minimum of R10 insulation, a minimum of 24” below slab.
A1.1 Free text Cody Jones : Building Open 4 As per section 706.6, In order for fire wall to terminate at
roof decking a minimum of class B roof covering is required. In exception 4.3 roof decking will need to
protected on each side for four feet.
Fire wall terminates at underside of roof decking. The existing has metal roof panels, and the new
building will as well (Exception 706.6.2.3).
Metal roof panel PBR has a Class A rating (see attached).
Exception 4 is not applicable as the roof sheathing isn’t combustible.
