HomeMy WebLinkAboutPZ Amend Development Code -Ord 1200 Adopt General Dwelling and Manufactured Home amendments June 1 2023_ NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR THE CITY OF REXBURG Public Hearing: June 1, 2023, at 6:30 pm to be held before the Rexburg Planning and Zoning Commission at 35 N 1st E, Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho (#22 00299) to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE (Ordinance 1200) for the City of Rexburg. It is proposed to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE concerning substantive and non-substantive items. All proposed modifications to the DEVELOPMENT CODE may be reviewed at the offices of Planning and Zoning or the City Clerk’s office. The proposed substantive changes amending Development Code Ordinance No.1200 (by section) are delineated below: PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE DEVELOPMENT CODE ORDINANCE NO. 1200 Amend 1.02.020 Ready Team clarification Amend Chapter 2 Definitions – Removed and modified definitions pertaining to flag poles, dwellings, household pets, livestock, and manufactured housing Repeal 3.02.060 Distance Between Buildings Amend 3.02.070 Accessory permitted accessory uses and distances between buildings Amend 3.02.100 Screening and Landscaping buffers Amend 3.02.110 Fencing Requirements administrative review and approval Amend 3.02.170 Sidewalks in residential zones Add 3.02.175 Flagpole requirements Amend 4.0 Permitted used in all residential zones Amend 4.03 to 4.09 All Lot Areas and Lot Configurations (amend 4.09.070 Lot Configuration only) Amend 5.02.020 Permitted Uses in Trans Ag zone Amend 5.02.030 Permitted Accessory in Trans Ag zone Amend 6.01.030 Lot Area in Community Business Center zone Amend 6.02.030 Single Ownership and Control in Regional Business Center zone Amend 7.00.050 Building Height in all Industrial zones Amend 7.01.050 and 7.02.050 Yard Requirements in Light and Heavy Industrial zones Amend 9.01.040 Reduction in Parking for Dormitory in the Pedestrian Emphasis District Overlay Repeal 9.03.020 Definitions in Sexually Oriented Business Overlay Amend 10.03.010 Pre-Application process for Subdivisions Amend 10.03.070 Request for Mylar for Subdivisions Amend 10.6(A) Short Plat Conditions Amend 10.09.010 Planned Unit Development Lot Density and Density Bonuses Amend 11.01.020 Definitions for Manufactured Homes Amendments to 11.2 Manufactured Home Requirements Amendments to 11.3 Manufactured Housing Community Amendments to 11.4 Manufactured Housing Community Health and Sanitation Requirements At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on May 31, 2023. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.
