Subject: Teton River Lofts - Grounding Electrode Size
Gentlemen,
Sheet E3.0 calls for a 3/0 Cu for the grounding electrode conductor, this was oversized since the size of the service entrance conductor was not known at the time of design.
It is our understanding that Rocky Mountain Power will be providing (2) Parallel Runs of 350 Aluminum for the Service Entrance to the 800A meter packs. Based on this information, the
Grounding electrode conductor shall be a minimum of 1/0 Cu or 3/0 Aluminum.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns
Thanks,
Shawn Meador, PE
