PURPOSE: To allow for a Temple and Meeting House PROPERTY LOCATION: Approximately 1565 N 2nd E COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Commercial/Mixed Use CURRENT ZONING: Transitional Agriculture (TAG) CURRENT USE: Agriculture AUTHORITY: §1.03.010 (A) “The Commission shall have the authority to consider and recommend to the Council ordinances, amendments thereto, and repeal of ordinances affecting zoning, planning, and building within the City of Rexburg” Information to consider with this request: • The property is located Northeast of Walmart and South of the North Rexburg Interchange. The CUP would apply to the North part of the property, including approximately 36 of the 105 acres. • A total of 20 hearing notifications were mailed to surrounding property owners. • Staff presents this report to the P&Z Commission to be considered for recommendation to City Council for approval of the conditional use permit.
