Special inspector needs to be identified. Connect Engineering to be the Special inspector
As per Energy Code table C402.1.3 slab needs to have an R-10 for 24" below slab and a 6 mill damp
proofing material under slab. See prescriptive Insulation form
Exit lighting and exit signs to be installed. Acknowledged
Electrical
• The #4Cu ground conductor designed is compliant with the NEC which has a minimum
requirement of a #6Cu ground to the ground rod but a #4Cu ground to the Concrete encased
electrode. We recommend leaving the design as is.
• The feeder from the Vo-Tech to this building is approx. 600ft. I increased the size to a #2/0Al
and have included voltage drop information for the City Inspector. See attached.
• All work must conform to NEC 2017.
