Table of Contents for Engineering Documents
1. FS vicinity map – showing the location of this development in southeast Rexburg.
2. FS project narrative – this document gives the background for the project and includes
appropriate narrative discussion for the water, sewer, storm drain, and street design and
construction. Reading through this document first before conducting the review of the
others will provide the background and understanding so that everything else will make
sense.
3. FS infrastructure drawings (project plans) – the drawings are presented in color to help
differentiate between water and sewer…and also between existing and new piping as
some existing water and sewer pipelines were stubbed into this phase of the
development during a previous phase.
4. FS special provisions and specifications – this document includes reference to the
standard specifications used and any updates or changes intended to the Standard
Specifications and Standard Drawings associated with this project.
5. FS SWPPP – this is the overall document for the contractor to follow. I should note that
the project location is in a topographical bowl with no outlet so there will not be any
impact to surface waters.
6. FS design report – identifies demands and demonstrates acceptable
capacities/conditions for water and sewer service to this phase of the subdivision.
7. FS "will serve" letter – as explained in the project narrative, this project was approved as
a planned unit development by Rexburg back in 2007. Note the "will serve" letter issued
at that time for water, sewer, and storm drainage service was for the entirety of the
subdivision and thus refers to "all phases" – which includes this Phase 3 being
submitted.
8. FS Phase 3 Final Plat – this is a plat of the Phase 3 for which the infrastructure is to be
constructed. It shows the 15 single-family lots and completing the loop configuration of
Paul Revere Lane, which provides access and service to this Phase 3.
