Please see response from structural::
Brett,
I spoke with Mike on this and it will be acceptable as long as the building wall is braced temporarily until
the truck dock wall can be placed. Or, the building wall can tie into the truck dock strip footing
monolithically and then it will be able to retain the building pad soil.

[CMiC] RFI: 017 Building B stem wall on 1 line at loading dock

To: Brett Gulash

This RFI from Mike Massey at Bateman -Hall, Inc regarding U -Haul Rexburg, ID requires Brett
Gulash's attention.
A response to this RFI is due on 2023-01-18.
Section 41S1.2 shows the loading wall retaining wall footer and wall poured and backfilled up
to the stem wall footing. We would like to drop the footing on the stem wall to the retaining wall
elevation and pour the wall taller to complete the building foundations sooner in order to start
the building shell as scheduled mid February. Is this acceptable? Please see attached
highlighted drawing with comments.
