Section VIII. If at such election two-thirds of the qualified electors who are taxpayer's
in such citv votin~ at such election assent to the issuin~ of such bonds, they shall he
is sued in manner provided by the Hunicipal Bond La\v of the State of Idaho.
Section IX. This ordinance, upon its passa~e and approval, shall he published in one
issue of the nexbur~ Standard, a weekly newspaper printed and published and of general
circulation in the City of Rexburg, Idaho, and shall take effect and be in full force
immediately after its passa~e, approval and publication.
Section X. All ordinances or parts of ordinances of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, in con-
flict with this ordinance or any part thereof are hereby repealed.

REVENPE PURPOSES OF SAID CITY AND FOR INTEHEST ON THE BONDED INDEBTED
NESS AND FOR SINKING FUND, AND APPROPRIATING TO THE SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS,
OFFICES, AND FUNDS OF THE SAID CITY GOVERNMENT SnCH SrMS AS MAY BE

THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 19HO-61.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF TIm CITY OF REXBlTRG, Idaho:
SECTION 1. This ordinance shall he and is hereby termed the annual Appropriation
Bill of the City of Rexhurg, Idaho, for the fiscal year 1960-1961.
Section 2. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property within the city
limits of the City of Rexburg, and subject to taxation for the city purposes of said
City Government at the rates following:
For general revenue purposes ten (10) mills on each dollar of assessed valuat-ion.
For street lighting purposes five (5) mills on each dollar of assessed v~uation.
For interest on outstanding bonds of the city, and for sinking fund to pay maturing
installn~nts of such bonds, seven (7) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation.
For streets and alleys fund purposes five (5) mills on each dollar of assessed
valuation.

For municipal library purposes one (1) mill on each dollar of assessed val ua tion.
For Police Hetirement purpose s one (1) mill on each dollar of assessed valuation.
Por Fire Department pl !rposes two (2) mills on each dollar of R;ssessed valuation.
For Health and Sanitation purposes one (1) mill on each dollar of assessed valuation.
For Municipal Park purposes one (1) mill on each dollar of assessed valuation.

Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby empowered and directed to certify the fore-
goin~ to the proper officers of Madison pounty, Idaho, for entry upon the tax rolls of
said County for the collection in the mannel provided by law.
Sectton 4. The City Treasurer is hereby empowered and directed to apportion
the moneys received on account of taxes hereby levieg, and from all other source~,
to the several funds for which levies are made and to which moneys are appropriated as
in this ordinance provided.

A. ADHINISTRATIVE DEPART~1ENT - GENERAL EXPENSE FrND: Prom moneys received on
account of taxes levied and other available sources, there is hereby appropriated to the
General Expense Fund Administrative Departments and Sundries, the sum of $29,100.00.
B. LAW ENFORCEHENT AND FIHE DEPART.HENT: From the moneys received on account of
taxes levied and other available sources, there is hereby appropriated to the Law
Enforcement and Fire De partment the SU.Dl of $40,500.00.
C. \vATEJUYOHKS nEPAHTHENT: [,'rom the revenue derived from the ,va terworks sys tern of
the City dwing the fiscal year 1960-1961, the moneys now on hand in the waterworks
fund, and othe revenues availahle, there is hereby appropriated the sum necessary to
to defray the expenses of operating and maintainin~ said system during the fiscal
year 1960-1901, and from such revenue, and for said plirposes, there is hereby appropri-
ated the sum of $42,600.00.
D. IRHIGATION DEPAHTHENT: All moneys received on account of the irrigation system
of the City of Hexburg, and distribution of water ther'eby to the inhabitants of the
I City, are hereby appropriated to the City Ditch Fund for the payment of salaries, wages
!; ald other necessary expense of operation and maintenance of said irrigation system, there
:: is hereby appropriated to the Ditch Fund for snch purposes from moneys not otherwise

other sources available, there is hereby appropriated to the Hecreation Department the

. HEALTH AND SANITATION DEPARTHENT: From moneys received on account of taxes

WIlliREAS, hy the result of a special bond election duly and lawfully called and held in the
Ci ty of Rex1)ur!!;, Hadison County, state of Idaho, on Tuesday, the 28th day of June,
1960, the City of Rexburg, Idaho, was empowered to issue and sell its municipal coupon
bonds to the amount of $28,000.00 to provide funds for the purpose of improving the
