BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho: Section 1: That Section 1 .f Ordinance No. 321 .f the City .f Rexburg, Idaho, pertaining t. the salary of Police Judge, be amended to read as fOllows, to-wit: That the salary of the Police Judge shall be 8900.00 per year, cOlDl1lencing October 1, 1955, and shall be paid in semi-monthly instalments of $75.00 per month. I ,t..;" ORDINANCE NO. 399 v (j- "" ~ c I : AN ORDINANCE AME}WING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 322 FIXING RATES WHERE WATER METERS ARE USED AND PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE OF SAID ~iATER RATES, AND SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 309, STATING ~ WATER PAYMENTS SHALL BE DUE, AND REPEALING AU. ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF OROINAN. IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO: SECTION I: That Section 1 of Ordinan~e No. 322 of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, be amended to read as follows, to-wit: There shall be charged and collected by the City Clerk in eases where water meters have been or shall be installed for water taken through such meters as shown by the readings thereof, monthly, from users and occupants of buildings and premises in the several classes, respectively, the following rates and charges, said classes being defined in Section 4 of Ordinance No. 317. Class One: ror the first 3,000 gallons or less, $2.00 per month. Class Two: lfhen occupied by ~nly one family or when a separate meter is used for each family or ;user, which shall' include dwelling apartments in business buildings, the rates prescribed herein as applying to Class: one; and, when/occupied by two or more families drawing water through one meter, the rates shall be as follows: For the first 3,000 gallons or less, $2.00 as in the case of one family, ana'l.50 for 3,000 gallons oriess for each additional family, and if the amount drawn exceeds 3,000 gallolts to each f~ly l5~ per 1000 for the 3,000 gallons or less of such excess, and 7~ per 1,000 gallons for allover 3" gallons of such excess., ,C4!' In cases where no meters are maintained such charges shall be payable for the ensuing month in advance, and in cases where meters are maintained such charges shall be payable for the month immediately passed. C)., ORDINANCE NO. 400 AN ORDINANCE DEEMING IT ADVISABLE TO ISSUE MUNICIPAL COUPON BONDS OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, IN THE AMOUNT OF $170,000.00, FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING STREETS AND THE INTERSECTIONS OF STREETS.,WITHIN THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, WHICH IS A NECESSARY PUBLIC IMPROVEMmT; PROVIDING FOR "'A SPECIAL ELECTION IN SAID CITY TO VOTE UPON THE QUESTION OF ISSUING SUCH BOODS AND SPECI- FYING PROVISIONS TO BE MADE FOR THE PAYMENT OF SUCH 13OODS. WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary at this time that the City streets and intersections within the City of Rexburg be improved, and WHEREAS, the City of Rexbu~g, Idaho, does not have funds available for said purpose, and /1 ( . SECTION III: That for the purpose of providing funds to pay the interest on said bonds promptly when the same falls due and also a sinking funds for the payment of said bonds at maturity, the~ shall be levied annually upon all of the taxable property in said City, in addition to all othell" , taxes, a sum sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and to provide for, the payment of the 'principal thereof as they mature, and all such taxes must be levied, assessed and collected as other taxes until' the bonds so issued are fully paid and the faith, credit and all taxable property within the said..City are and must continue pledged for the punctual payment of the principal of ana the interest on said bonds when due. SECTION IV: That a special election of the qualified electors who are taxpayers of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, be and the same is hereby called to be held on Tuesday, the 19th day of June, 1956, for the purpose of enabling the qualified electors who are taxpayers of said City to vote upon the question of issuing said bond.
