Also, in the same districts for the purpose of . facilitating fire fighting, building inspections shall be made by the department officers from time .to time but not less frequently than once every three months to determine the arrangements of buildings ,v.ith respect to one another, to familiarize themselves with the inside of every building and its contents, to study the best methods of attacking every building in case of fire and to note all new constructions. , 3. Records'shall be kept of all inspections including notes and sketches.. These records, shall be made a permanent part of t he records of the Fire Department. 4. The Fire Chief or any person he may so designate, is hereby authorized, emposered and required to inspect buildings in vmich public gatherings are held at the tige of such gatherings and to prohibit the overcrowding of any building in which such gatherings are held and to prohibit the closing or crowding of exits by people and the obstruf~ion of stairvtays at such gatharings. Section 7. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the. provisions o.f this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section.S. Penalties. 1. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable b.~l a fine of not to exceed $100.00 and upon failure to pay such fine shall be committed to the custody of the Chief of Police and conftned in the City Jail at a rate of $1.50 per day until the fine is paid in full. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 2nd day of April, 1952. The clerk is hereby empowered and directed to certify the foregoing to th~ proper officers of Madison County, Idaho, for entry upon the tax rolls of said County for collection in proper manner provided by law. Section 4. The City Treasurer is hereby empowered and directed to apportion the moneys received on account of taxes hereby levied, and from all other sources, to the several funds for which levies are made and to which moneys are appropriated as in this ordinance provided. Section 5. The revenue for the City of Rexburg, ,Idaho, for the fiscal year 1952-1953 from all sources received are hereby appropriated to the several Funds and purposes which are hereby declared to be necessary for such purposes as shovm by the budget of the City heretofore adopted for said fiscal year, respectively, as follows, to-wit: A. GENERAL EXPENSE FUND: Trom moneys received on account of taxes levied, and other available sources, there is hereby appropriated to the General Expense Fund (Administrative, Sundries, Law Enforcement, Waterworks, and Irrigation Depts.) the sum of $84,108.98. B. STREETS AND ALLEYS DEPAR'ThffiNT-: From moneys received on account of taxes levied thereOf, there is hereby appropriated to the Streets Department the sum of $28,380.00. C. MUNICIPAL HEALTH AND SANITATION FUND: From the moneys received on account of taxes levied thereof, there is hereby appropriated to the Health and Sanitation Department the sum of $8,005.00. D. MUNICIPAL LIBRARY FUND: From moneys received on account of taxation, there is hereby appropriated to the Library Department the sum of $1,050.00. E. MUNICIPAL PARKS FUND: From the moneys received on account of taxation, there is hereby .?-ppropriated to the Park Department the sum of $6,400.00. F. STREET LIGHTING DEPARTMENT: From the moneys received on account of taxation, there is hereby appropriated to the Street Lighting Departmsnt the sum of $4,000.00. G. MUNICIPAL RECREATION FUND: From moneys received from t~tion and other available sources, there is hereby appropriated to t he Recreation Fund the sum of 31,000.00. H. BOND INTEREST AND SINKING FUND: From moneys received on account of taxex levied and other available sources, there is hereby appropriated to the Bond Interest and Sinking Fund, for the payment of interest on outstanding Bonds and for the payment of maturing insta1.1.ments on such indebt,qpess, the sum of $4,200.00. .f\., rJ.. :." ~ " I.
