BE CONSTRUED AS PERMITTING VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW' OR STATE STATUTE AND PROVIDING THE PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE ORDINANCE: PHOVIDING W SAVING CLAUSE AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT1IREWITH. I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO: I ~:J. J., Section 1. Definitions of terms: -) -_/ (a) The term person means any individual, firm, aD-partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stock assoqiation or body politic and includes any trustee, receiver, assignee or other similar representative ~hereof. /.. ~ 5Q 2., Section 2. Gen~ral rules: .... t (a) All aeronautical activities at the Rexburg 11unicipal Airport, and all flying of aircraft departing from or arriving at the Rexburg Municipal Airport, shall be conducted in conformity with the current pertinent provisions of the Civil Air Regulations issued by the Civil Aeronautics Joard. (b) The Airport Manager may suspend or restrict any or all operation so without reg~rd for the weather conditions whenever such action is deemed necessary in the interest of safety. (c) The Airport Manager shall at all times have authority to take such action as may be necessary to safeguard the public in attendance at the airport. Every pilot, mechanic or other person employed on or using the airport shall cooperate with the airport management to enforce th~se rles and to see that all persons on the premises use due care and caution to prevent injury to persons or damage to property. (d) Instructors 'will fully acnuaint their students with these rules and shall be responsible for the conduct of students under their direction during dual instruction. Ground Hules: -, :>- (a) Aircraft engines shall be started or warmed up only in the places designated for such purposes by the Airport Manager. LANDING AND TAKE OFF RULES fa (a) Landings or take-offs shall be made on the runway or landing strip most nearly i:ligned ,,'lith the wind or when winds are light to the south. (Winds of 6 M.P.H. or less are considered calm.) (b) or aircraft. FIRE REGULATIONS: ......1._...._.. ~ (a) All persons using in any way the airport area or the facilities of the airport shall exercise the utmost care to guard against fire and injury,jo persons or property. (b) No person shall conduct any welding or open flame operations in or adjacent to any hanger unless specifically authorized by the Airport Manager. (c) No person shall store or stock material or e11uipment in such a manner as to constitute a fire hazard. 't: (d): (e) is in a hanger. PENALTIES: ~ Any person violating any of the prov~s~ons of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and! shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed $100 and upon failure to pay such fine shall be committed to the custody of the Chief of Police and confined in the City Jail at a rate of $1.50 per day until such..tine is paid in full. /- 2 30 ~ SECTION 9. ". SAVING CLAUSE: - If $.ny portion of this ordinance shall be declared invalid it shall not affect the validity of the remainder thereof. ,~i1 SECTION 10.
