THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1934.

BE IT ORDAINED By the li~yor and Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho:
Section 2.- There is hereby levied upon all the taxable property within the limits of
;111 the City of Rexburg and subject to taxation for city purposes, in and for the year 1934,
taxes for the several purposes and at the rates following:

For gene ral revenue purposes,
ten mills on each dollar of assessed value;
For interest on outstand.ing bonds of' said city and sinking fund,
ten mills on each
dollar of assessed value;
Section 3.- The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify the foreQ'oinp'
levies to the proper officers of !v,adison County for entry upon the tax rolls of the' County
for collection in the manner provided by law.
Section 4.- The City Treasurer is hereby directed to apportion the moneys received
on account of taxes hereby levied, and f'(r all other purposes, to the several funds for which
said levy is made and to which said moneys are appropriated as in this ordinance provided.
Section 5.- The revenues of the City of Rexburg for the fiscal year 1934, from all
sources received, are he reby appropriated to th e seve reI funds and purposes re ~necti ve ly,
as follows, which are he reby declared tc be necessary for such purposes as shown bv the
budget of the city for said year, to-wit:
A.- General Expense Fund.- From moneys received on account of taxes levied and other
available revenues, there is hereby appropriated to the General Expense Fund (";1' the City
Government, the sum of ~2,7l0.00.
B.- Water Department.- From revenues derived from the water works system of the City
for the fiscal year 1934, and from moneys now on hand.~:nthe wat"r works fund and other
revenues available, there is he reby appropriated the &r4ount neeessary to defray the expenses
of operation and maintenance. of S~id system dUring. tbt.,....J....~.'..I~ll'~~..1934, and from such reve-
nues and for said purposes there ~s hereby a:ppropri&.""r~h. sum ot #16,450.00.

City for maintenance and improvement of public streets ,alleys, parks and public "'"rounds,
the sum of ~5.046.20.
D.- Fire Department.- From moneys received on account of taxes levied therefor, and
other revenues available, there is hereuy appropriated to the Fire Department of said City
_for the purposes of paying salaries and other expenses of operation and maintenance, the
sum of $3,350.00.
E.- Ditch iDepartment.- All moneys received 'rom and on account of the irri~ation
system of said qity and the distribution of water thereby to the inhabitants of the City,
are hereby apprqpriatedto the ])i tch Fund, for the patment of salaries, wages and other
necessary expen~es of operation and maintenance of the irrigation system, and there is also
hereby appropri~ted to the Ditch Fund for the several purposes needed the additional sum,
from moneys not ;otherwise appropriated, of $760.00.

F.- Police Department.- From moneys received on account of taxes levied therefor, and
other available revenues, there is hereby appropriated to the Police Department for the pay-
ment of salaries and other necessary expenses, the sum of $2,400.00.

H.- All revenues of the City of Rexburg received during the fiscal year 1934 not hereby
otherwise appropriated are hereby appropriated to the General Expense Fund of the City.
Section o~- This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage, approval and due publication as required by law.
