ORDINANCE NO. 297 \ AN ORDINANCE PERMITTING THEATERS AlTD MOVING PICTURE SHOWS TO KEEP OPEN ON SUNDAY WITHIN THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, PRESCRIBING CER- TAIN REGULATIONS THEREFOR, .A~m PROHIBITING CERTAIN AMUSEMENTS IN, SAID CITY. ) ~~EREAS, Petitions have been presented to the Mayor and Council of the City of Rexburg, pursuant to the prOvisions of Section 8293 of the Idaho Ccmpiled Statutes as amended by Chapter 238, Laws of 1921, ',".'hereby a number of qua-lified electors residing within the said City e~ual to a majority of the votes cast at the last general election in said City, have petitioned the Mayor and City Council to permit theaters and moving picture ShOV1S to keep o})en on Sunday in said City; and it appearing that said petitions are signed by the re~uisite number of (Dlalified electors residing in said City, and that same are sufficient to authorize the enact~ent of an ordinance permitting such amusements in said City on Sunday; THEREFORZ, BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and Council of the Ci ty of Rexburg, Idaho: Section 1.-- Theaters and. moving IJicture shows SLre hereby permi tted to ~ceep open on the fir~;t day of the week commonly called Sunday, within the corporate limits of the City of Rexburg in Madison County, Sta to of Idaho, between t he hours 01' 2: 00 o'clock P.1I. and 30 minutes past 11:00 o'clock P.M.
