of Madison, State of Idaho:
SECTION 1.
NO pere~n shall use or keep for use in any public place in this
city any card table or card tables on which games of cards are played, without first
obtaining a license and paying a tax thereof as hereinafter provided.

SErTIe]: 2.
All applications for licenses contemplated by the preceeding
section shall be in writing and shall state the number and kind of tables to be used
and the place of keeping the same. Dpon the filing of such application with the City
Clerk and payment to the said City of the sum of ($3.00) Dollars per table on all

tables used, the amount hereby fixed for such quarterly license, and the City Council
having granted such application, quarterly license shall be issued thereon.
SECTIC~ 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum less than one hundred ($100.00)
Dollars or impri sonment not exceeding; three months, or' both the fine and impri sonment.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its passage and due publication required by law.
SECTION 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are

SYSm! IN REJrnTTRG, ~rADISCN COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, BY PROVIDING A ClTANGE IN THE PRICE

seciion 1. That section 9 of ordinance No. 248 of said rity be amended and
made to read as follows, to-wit:
sec1ion 9. Applications for permit for sewer connections must be made in

fee of Three Dollars ($3.00) shall be deposited with the superintendent of the sewers,
which plan shall be examined by the superintendent of the sewers, and if in his judge-
, ment the carrying out of the plan will c~use no injury to the street in which the
sewer sought to be connected with is laid, or to the carrying out of improvements
projected, or which may thereafter be made on said street or prejudicial to the inter-
est of persons whose property has been or may thereafter be connected with the said
sewer and that the said plan in all things does conform to the ordin~nces of this City, )
