parks, or other places laid out for public use, and it is hereby made the duty of both the
owners and occupants of adjacent -property to keep such publi.c thoroughfare free from and
remove all obstructions herein specifip.d, or others that in any manner tend to T.>revent the
use of such thoroughfares by pedestrians or vehicles, where such obstructions come frum or
accumulate upon such adjacent premises.
Sec tion 24.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this oroinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine
of ~ot more than one hundred dollars. and in default of the pa.Jrrnent thereof. shall be
imprisoned in the city ,ja.il '1.t the rate of one da.y for each two dollars of the fine im1')oserl.
