SECTION 7. The cost and expense of makine the said improvement, including engine-
ering and other legal and clerical services, advertising, cost of inspection, cost Of col-
lecting assessments and interest upon installment warrants to 'be issued as hereinafter pro
vided, shall be taxed and assessed upon all property in such local improvement district,
which cost shall bo assessed in proportion to the num'ber of feet of such lots and lands
fronting thereon or a'butting, contiguous or tributary thereto and included in said im-
provement district and in proportion to tho benefits derived 'by said improvement; provid-
ou th~t the expenses of the construction of street crossings or cross walks necessary at
street crossings or cross walks necessary at street intersections shall 'be paid by the
city at large in accordance with the terms of said Ordinance No. 243.
SECTION 8. To pay for the portion of tho expense Of said work wiich will be pro-
porly chargeable against the city under the terms of this ordi~ance there is hereby appro-
printed the sum of money sufficient t pay tho said share of said cost in accordance with
the terms of this ordinance, to be paid out of the general funds of said city, provided

SECTION 10.
Upon receiving tho said assessment roll the City Clerk shall give
notice thereof by three successive publications in tho official newspaper of said City,
in substance that such assessment roll is on file in his Office, the date of filing the same

and said notice shall state a time at which the council will hear and consider objections
to said assessments roll by the parties agrievud by such assessments.
Tho owner or owners
of any property which is assessed in such assessments roll, whether named or not in such
roll, may within ten days from the date of last publication of said notice as provided in

The owner of any piece of property liable for any special assessments

time for payment to close, the last da;l of said notice to be not less than thirty days befor

SEC'l'ION 16.
Such bonds if issued shall be prepared under the provisions of the said
Chapter of the Compiled Laws of the State Of Idaho, aforesaid, as amended.

1. Reinforced Concrete pavement.
2. Sheet Asphalt on a portland oement base.
3. Asphalt concrete on a portland cement concrete bose.
4. Standard Bithulithic on a portland comont concrete base.
5. Bithulithic on 4 inch rOck base.
Ane thc; bids for the construction of' tho said improve:nent which shall be called for as
provided herein shell cover all of said pypes of pavement; the council at the time of the
opening of said bids, or at such later time as may be deemed advisable, shall select the
particular type of surface or pavoment to be laid on said streets and award a contract or
contracts for said improvements.
SEC'l'ION 18.
In the making of any contract for the proposed improvements it may be
I,rovided that a certain percentage of the contract prices shall Db pa.id from timo to time
as the work progresses on estimates to be made by the City Engineer, and as such estimates

on a fund to be designated as Local Improvement District No. 12 Fund shall be issued to the
