WHEREAS. it is deemed necessary and beneficia.l for the heal th and genera.l
welfare of the inhabitants of the City 01 Rexburg, Madison County. Idaho. for the
City Council of said city to grane, curb, nave, park, sidwwalk and surface drain
certain streets and oarta of streets of said city, and to construct street cr068-

Be it further ordained that the said work, If the same shall be done, be in
accordance wi th the plans 'lnd spec i fi ca t ions here tofore prepared by the City Eng ineer
of said City, which said Tllans a.nd snecifications remain on file it! the office of the
Cit.y Clerk and a.re hereby referred to for f"re"tter certainty as to the oartic:uJar me-
thod to be adopted for the inrpro..,,-ement of 8Fdo streets a.nd the method. of flurface
draining the same.
Be it further ordained, that. the cost of t.he said imnrovements , aaid diR-
trict shall be created, be assessed and a.butting, conti~uous and tributary lots a.nd
lands a.nd lotA and lands inclt,;ded iTl t.he said. improveu,ent district formed, Aach lot
and Y)arcel of land being oeparately assessed for t.he fu1: debt thereof in nroportion
to the numl)er of feet of Raid lands and Iota fror:titlf, thereon or included ~n the irn-
prover::ent district t!nd. in proportion t.o the (lenefi ta derived to fjuch -property by said
impro'.tements sufficient to cover the total C:OHt and expense of the work to the center
of the st.reHt, and that when said dintrict shall be cree.ted it shall include aL H:e

Be it further' ordained, that the int.ention of said Ci ty Council to create
said district is hereby eXTlressee and if the 8allle hereafter shall be created and con-
tracts let for the performa.nce of the work, the sa.id Council may insert a cla.use in
the ord inance erea t ing sa. id d istrj ct. and in the sai d con tract that. payment for Bai rl

Be it further ordained., that on said 9th day of April, 1920, at said hour

said city, in at least two consecutive issues thereof before the time fixed in this reso-

be fi led wi th the said Ci ty Clerk on or before the time fixed for the filirlg of ~UCll pro-
tests.
Passed by the Ci t:l Council this l'lth day of Ma.rch, 1920, and referrt\cd to the
