Response: Added General note “C.FINISH GRADE TO SLOPE 5% AWAY FROM
THE BUILDING 10' MINIMUM” to sheet AS-101 & A-201
3.Comment:
Dampproofing/Waterproofing comply with IBC Section 1805
Response: Added General note “WALL OR PORTIONS THEREOF THAT
RETAIN EARTH AND ENCLOSE INTERIOR SPACES AND FLOORS BELOW
GRADE SHALL BE WATERPROOFED AND DAMPPROOFED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH 1805” to sheet A-201

COORDINATE ALL PENETRATIONS THROUGH FIREWALL ARE TO
COMPLY WITH IBC 714”on sheet G-101

Response: Confir ming that these requirements have been met.

Seating at tables, counters, and work areas comply with section 1109.11
Response: Update counter height at reception desk to be 34” in height. See sheet
A-401

Exit lighting and exit signs to comply with section 1008 and 1013
Response: Added General Note “ALL MEANS OF EGRESS PATH SHALL BE
ILLUMINATED TO A LEVEL NOT LESS THAN 1 FOOTCANDLE (11 LUX) AT
THE WALKER SURFACE, PER IBC 1008” on sheet G-101. Added additional exit
signs, see G-101

Draftstopping in attics to limit attic areas to areas no greater than 3000 sq feet.
Response: Added note “FIREBLOCK/DRAFTSTOP PER IBC 718” to sheet A-301.
10.Comment:
Equipment platfor m accessed by stairs?
Response: Current design and drawings show a per manent ladder attached to the
wall. See A-101 key not A6.
11.Comment:
Access to the equipment platfor m?
Response: See sheet A-101 keynote A6 calls out a ladder to access the equipment
platfor m.
12.Comment:
Need to meet all requirements of section 505.
Response: Equipment platfor m complies with section 505. Updated A-101 to show
the extent of the equipment platfor m
13.Comment:
Roof fire classification as per Chapter 15?

Response: Per table 1505.1 our roof is to be classified as C . With proposed metal
roofing we comply with section 1505.4 Class C Roof Assemblies.
14.Comment:
Panic hardware shall be installed per section 1010.10
Response: Panic hardware is not required per section 1010.1.10. Added general note
“LABEL EGRESS DOOR WITH THE FOLLOWING NOTE "DOOR TO
REMAIN UNLOCKED DURING BUSINESS HOURS" LETTER TO NOT BE
LESS THAN 1" IN HEIGHT.” to sheet A-601.
15.Comment:
Glass and glazing to meet requirements of Chapter 24.
Response: Current drawing indicates where tempered glazing is required, see A-100,
A-101, and A-601.
16.Comment:
Drinking fountain?
Response: Current design and drawing show a drinking fountain. See A-101 Keynote
P4, P-2 called out as EWC-1 and P-3 is fixture schedule as EWC-1
