PROPERTY LOCATION: Approx 5th E 7th S – Parcels RPR6N40E296601 & RPR6N40E322402 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: LDR1 – MDR1 CURRENT ZONING: LDR1 PROPOSED ZONING: Medium-Density Residential 1 (MDR1) AUTHORITY: §1.03.010 (A) “The Commission shall have the authority to consider and recommend to the Council ordinances, amendments thereto, and repeal of ordinances affecting zoning, planning, and building within the City of Rexburg” Information to consider with this request: • The property is currently an open field used for agriculture. • The property has an approximate address of 5th E and 7th S, between Eaglewood and Harvest Heights subdivisions. The properties total approximately 15.25 acres. • Low-Density Residential 1 (LDR1) is zoned to the North, South, and West, while the East is zoned Rural Residential 2 (RR2). The other side of Eaglewood subdivision to the West is zoned as High-Density Residential 1 (HDR1). • Staff presents this report to the P&Z Commission for recommendation to City Council for approval of the rezone request.
