-Addendum #3 dated June 03, 2005
This memo is in response to your review of the drawings for the BYU Idaho Snow Bldg. Addition/Remodel
project. As you know, in an effort to comply with the comments outlined in your review, we met on Friday,
May 13, 2005 to address each of those comments. This memo is intended to document items as
addressed in that meeting as well as changes we have made to the drawings in order to come into
compliance. Please review our response as outlined below which addresses only the comments
indicated as not being approved in your review document and let us know if you require any additional
information or clarification. Thank you again for your time and assistance on this very important project.

-Per our meeting, the construction materials do meet the

(commentary). This table allows for a Class C material to be
used in sprinkled rooms and enclosed spaces for a Group A-3
occupancy. IBC table 803.1 indicates that plywood paneling
(untreated) typically has a flame spread range of 75-275. IBC
section 803.1 defines a Class C flame spread range of 76-200;
smoke -developed 0-450. The specifications for the project
shows adherence to this in Section 064021nteriorArchitectural
Woodwork part 1.5 paragraph E, which requires flame spread
not to exceed 75 and smoke developed not to exceed 450.
