This one is $250,000 for a sidewalk on 7th South to the Meadows and two rapid flash cross-walks across 12th West. There is no match on this grant. Construction must be complete by December 9, 2023. Your application was very well written and clearly demonstrated a need for infrastructure to improve safety and mobility for children pedestrians in your community. Attached you’ll find a LHTAC/Local agreement outlining the program guidelines and defining the timeline for spending the funding. The project must be completed and closeout documents submitted to LHTAC no later than December 9, 2023. Documents for closeout will be on LHTAC’s website under the Children Pedestrian Safety Program: https://lhtac.org/programs/cps/ LHTAC will be able to send your $250,000 check as soon as we get this agreement signed and returned.
