An Ordinance amending Sections 22 and 23 of Ordinance No. 110, an ordinance entitled" An Ordinance regulating the sale and use of water of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Schedule of prices to consumers and penalties for violation of the same" Passed and approved February, 19, 1907 and repealing Section 22. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho; SECTION 1-- That Section 22 of Ordinance No. 110, an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance regulating the sale and use of the water of the City of Rexburg Idaho, Schedule of prices to consumers and penalties for the violation of the same." Passed and approved February, 19, 1907 be and the name is hereby amended to read as follows; SEC.22. That the minimun of charges for water used thru a meter within or without the City shall be One Dollar and ten cents per month. Water meters may be put in at the consumers expense, whenever ir is considered neccesary by the superintendant and the same shall be put in upon the written request of any water user at any time, at the user's expense. Consumers shall keep all meters upon their premises from freezing and shall keep the surroundings clean and cIear. SECTION 2: That there be added to Section 23 of said ordinance the following words and phrases. Where water is used thru a meter within or without the City, there shall be rates to the users as follows: First 20,000 Gallons 30 Next 30,000 " 20 cents per 1,000 gallons. Next 50,000 " 14 cents per 1,000 gallons. Next 100,000 " 11 cents per 1,000 gallons. All Over 200,000 " 8 cents per 1,000 gallons. SECTION 3-- That section 22 of said ordinance is hereby repealed.
