As stated in the Idaho Code 67-6519, “Whenever a county or city considers a proposed subdivision or any other site-specific land development application authorized by this chapter, it shall provide written notice concerning the development proposal by mail, or electronically by mutual agreement, to all irrigation districts, ground water districts, Carey act operating companies, nonprofit irrigation entities, lateral ditch associations and drainage districts that have requested, in writing, to receive notice.” If you are not the contact for this water company, please give this letter to the appropriate member of your board and have them notify the Planning & Zoning Department of the needed contact change. If your board wishes to stop receiving notification of land use items in the City of Rexburg, please submit in writing such request to the Planning & Zoning department via email at Planning&Zoning@ rexburg.org or by mail.
