Initial Site Options Evaluation:
The North Option was eliminated as the space available was inadequate compared to the size of the proposed recreation center
South & East Options were deemed to be more viable in terms of impact to the existing park, indoor/outdoor potential, access, and visibility

Outcome: The South Option is the preferred option for the location of the new Recreation Center

The North Option was eliminated due to the site constraints, but some of the layout and adjacency concepts were utilized in other plan refinement
South & East Options were preferred for advancement and were adapted based on programming feedback from the Core Team

Adjacency and openness between spaces

Ease of patron use, access, and flow
Appropriate staffing / monitoring
Potential for spaces to be closed to allow for other events and/or setup to occur without shutting down other program areas
Good access to support spaces and storage to optimize staffing level and reduce expenses
