Thank you for sharing the request for annexation into the City of Rexburg for the noted parcels. From a position of
quality land development, Madison County supports annexation of lands adjacent to the City Limits. This allows for the
extension of city services, namely community water and centralized sewer systems. This allows for higher density land
development. The proposed zoning for Low Density Residential is consistent with the development surrounding these
parcels. Annexation of these parcels will allow for a greater community continuity and improved development
standards. Madison County supports this voluntary annexation.
