Subject: Pine Brook Estates Subdivision
Dear Mr. Parkinson,
I want to write you a brief note expressing my concern with the proposed zoning changes in the lots adjacent to the
freeway in Pine Brook Estates. I own a home at 988 Pine Brook Lane and I believe that it will generate quite a bit of
traffic on my street. Pine Brook Lane has children in almost every home on the block and it’s a neighborhood where the
kids freely play outdoors together frequently in front yards. I’m afraid we’ll lose the great sense of community that we
have built by adding the fear of traffic accidents involving children if we add a more dense zoning to the residential strip
along the freeway. We chose this neighborhood because of the large lots and the spacing between houses. I feel that
the Hibbard area is not the appropriate place for more density in residential lots – the density belongs more in town and
not out in the Hibbard area. I trust that you will make the right decision for the benefit of the residents of Pine Brook
Estates.
