My name is Ray church. I live at 1101 castle pines road. I will be directly effected by this zoning change and would like to take this opportunity to voice my opposition to the plan change. I am very frustrated that we are here in this situation again. We have all just gone through this by the same people just recently regarding the same lots. I don’t feel like this is something that should be done. The neighborhood is not set up to be this way and changing the plan on everyone this close to the end is wrong to do. Buying a home is a large deal. A lot goes into the decision to purchase that home. The decisions to do so In this neighborhood by myself and neighbors were done based on the understanding that there were going to be the same lot size, home size and value, that the neighborhood feel and plan would be what it was. To change that on everyone now would undercut some of the core deciding factors of buying in this neighborhood. I keep hearing that the reason that they want this is because they can’t sell the lots and that no one wants to build a dream home there. This is absolutely false. The developer built my dream home here. A home that was in the 2021 parade of homes so if the location was the issue there would be no parade home built there. The highway concerns to future development are false claims and we all know this. As far as the time the lots have been for sale I attempted to buy another one of these lots and the owner Curtis was marketing them as large premium lots and wanted 75+ k for the lot I called on so we all know this isn’t about lot value. I ask that you please take the time to put yourself in the shoes of myself and neighbors. Purchasing a home based on a area and a plan for a neighborhood that you loved and fit the vision you had to raise your family in. Then a year later having to defend that plan repeatedly brought on by the people that sold you the house. I think the 2 development needs to be finished out the way it is already planned and the way everyone bought into in the beginning. Thanks for your time for reading my letter and listening to my concerns
