Dear Cody,
The following plan review responses are hereby submitted to address your comments dated
8/10/2021.
Comment: Is this building considered an ambulatory health facility? If so, it would need to meet
the requirements of section 422. Services offered do not render patients incapable of self‐
preservation.
Response: The clinic does not meet the definition for an Ambulatory Care Facility per section 422
and is classified as a Business Occupancy per section 304.1 Professional Services (architects,
attorneys, dentists, physicians, engineer, etc.). Services offered do not render patients incapable
of self‐preservation, and patients are provided care on less than a 24‐hour basis, with no overnight
stays.
Comment: Rear lot line within 5’, allows 10% in exterior wall openings.
Response: The exterior wall openings on the rear wall are 8.85%; below the allowed 10% threshold.
Comment: Need COMM check.
Response: ComCheck energy calculations were intended to be uploaded with the plan set.
ComCheck is now hereby provided.
Comment: Draft stopping in attic shall subdivide combustible attic space so that no horizontal area
exceeds 3,000 square feet per section 718.4.
