Although the base flood for Lyons Creek is contained in Cite chaauel flrom the UPRR to the Stake River,
otbor flooding sources may exist east of the $sake River downstream pf the Project. If yna r enmmtmmtity
has any information or knowledge of other floodhe sources -in the area, you may request a revision to
the FIRM according to Part 65 of the NFIP regulations.

The modiftcatiom are shown on tie enclosed annotated copies of FUN Panels 16065CO020 D. 0025 I3,
0100 D, and 0125 D for Madison County, Idaho And Incorporated Areas. Tnis LOMR hanky revises
these panels of the effective FIRM dated June 3, 1991.
The revisions are effective as of the date of this letter; however, a review of the determination made by
this LOMR and any requests to alter this determir stion should be made within 30 days. Any request to
alter the determination must be based on sdendfic or technical data.
We will not physically revise and re pufth the FIRM for your community to mfim the ruodifmeatioru
made by this LOMR at this time. However, when changes to FIRM Panels 16065CO020 D, 0025 D,
0100 D. and 0125 D for your cornmunhy warrant a physical revision and rcpubUcation in the future, we
will incorporate the modifications made by this LOMR at that time,

cited in Paragraph 60.3(b)(7), require that communities assure that the flood -carrying capacity within the

community's existing floodplain mattagemat regaladons. Consequently' the ultimate reeponsiblllty fi7r
maintmance of the channel mndiflntion rests witin your community.
Because this LOMR will not be printed and distributed to-prituary users, such as local insurance agents
and mortgage lenders, your community will serve as a repository 6or these new data. We encourage you
to disseminate the information reflected by this LOMR throughout the: community, to that interested
persons, such as property owners, 1009 insurance age AW, and mortgage leaders. may bemeflt #rtnn the

(Public Law 93 234) and is in accordanme with the National Flood Ittsmance Act of'1969: as amended
(Title XIii of the Housing and Cuban Development Act of 1968, Public Law 90.449), 42 L.S.C. 4001-

community is required, as a condition of continued eligibility in the NFIP, to adopt or show avidence of
adoption of floodplain managemcut regulations drat meet the suiodards of Section 60.3(c) of the NF1I'

It must be emphasized that all of the standards specified in Section 60.3(c) of the NFIP replations must
