RESOLUTION FOR AMENDING
REXBURG COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP
Resolution No. 2022 - 09
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of April 2022, the City Council for the City of Rexburg was duly convened upon notice properly given and a quorum was duly noted; and
WHEREAS, in a Rexburg Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on the 7th day of April 2022, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing, taking public comment for and against
the proposal to amend the Comprehensive Plan Map. The public hearing ended with a vote to recommend the proposed Comprehensive Plan Map change to City Council; and
WHEREAS, in a subsequent City Council meeting on the 20th day of April 2022, the City Council reviewed the findings from the Planning and Zoning Commission’s Public Hearing held on
the 7th day of April 2022; and
WHEREAS, a comprehensive plan is a living document; an ongoing planning participation effort by the citizens of the community is encouraged to ensure changing conditions meet the needs
of the community; and
WHEREAS, proposed changes to comprehensive plan map can change land use designations; and
WHEREAS, the following approved Land Use designation changes to the Comprehensive Plan Map from Rural to LDR1-MDR1 for approximately 9 parcels in the Pine Brook Subdivision DIV 2
Block 6 Lots 16-24 (22-00102) in the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho and more particularly described as follows:

Legal Description:
A parcel of land being lots 16 through 24 of Pine Brook Estates, Division No. 2, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the East quarter comer of Section 13. thence N89°59'48"W 2569.82 feet along the East-West center section line of said Section 13 to a point at the right-of-way of Highway
20, said point also being the East boundary of Pine Brook Estates and the point of a non-tangent curve to the right having a radius of 8714.37 feet, a delta angle of 01°07'18" and a
chord bearing N28°12'23"E 170.58 feet, thence along said right-of-way and said boundary along said non-tangent curve to the right 170.58 feet to the Southeast comer of Lot 16. Block
6 of said Pine Brook Estates. said comer being the True Point of Beginning, thence leaving said right-of-way along the South boundary of said Lot 16 N44°31'27"W 170.16 feet to the Southwest
comer of said Lot 6, said comer being at the right-of-way of Castle Pines Road and the point of a non-tangent curve to the left having a radius of 60.00 feet, a delta angle of 06°17'46"
and a chord bearing N06°09'50"W 6.59 feet, thence along said non-tangent curve to the left along said right-of-way and the West line of said Lot 6 6.59 feet to a point of curvature to
the right having a radius of 60.00 feet, a delta angle of 38°40'26" and a chord bearing Nl0°01'21"E 39.73 feet, thence along said curve to the right along said right-of-way and said
West line of said Lot 6 40.50 feet to a point of compound curvature to the right having a radius of 8894.37 feet, a delta angle of 06°32'39" and a chord bearing N32°37'55"E 1015.36 feet,
thence along said compound curve to the right along said right-of-way and the boundary of Lots 16 through 24, Block 6 of said Pine Brook Estates 1015.91 feet to the point of curvature
to the left having a radius of 217.20 feet. a delta angle of 10°41'38" and a chord bearing
N30°33'26"E 40.48 feet, thence continuing along said right-of-way and said boundary along said curve to the left 40.54 feet to the Northwest comer of Lot 24, Block 6 of said Pine Brook
Estates, thence leaving said right-of-way and said boundary along the North boundary of said Lot 24 S74°17'16"E 196.52 feet to the Northeast comer of said Lot 24, said corner being at
said right-of-way of Highway 20, said comer also being the point of a non-tangent
curve to the left having a radius of 8714.37 feet, a delta angle of 07°50'51" and a chord bearing S32°4 l '27"W 1192.63 feet, thence along said non-tangent curve to the left along said
right-of-way and said boundary of said Lots 16 through 24 1193.56 feet to the true point of beginning.
Parcel contains 4. 727 acres.
WHEREAS, the changes shown on the Comprehensive Plan Map dated April 20, 2022 have been approved by the City Council;
NOW THEREFORE, by resolution duly adopted on the date first above written, be it resolved by the Mayor and the City Council the following:
The City of Rexburg does hereby accept and adopt the said Comprehensive Plan Map Land Use Designations in the City of Rexburg Comprehensive Plan.
RESOLVED this 20th day of April 2022; by the City Council, City of Rexburg, Idaho.
