Subject: Hidden Valley Rezoning
Dear Planning and Zoning Commission Members,
Please note my opposition to changing the proposed Hidden Valley expansion from a LDR1 to a LDR2.
I fully support city growth and an expansion of the Hidden Valley subdivision. However, I greatly prefer
that expansion occur with similar zoning protections that we currently enjoy in Hidden Valley.
I am deeply concerned that if the proposed change takes place, there will be much greater traffic
congestion, noise, and a diminution of the solid, stable neighborhood that currently constitutes Hidden
Valley.
My wife and I purchased our home in Hidden Valley because it was a quiet, low traffic, orderly, area of
town and felt that our home investment would only increase moving forward.
Janalee and I are concerned that the change will be significantly disruptive, and have a negative impact
on our overall home value, our neighbors home values and our neighborhood in general.
We urge you not to approve the proposed change.
