ORDINANCE NO. 1275
Rezone Approximately 115 North 1" West from Light Industrial (LI) to
High Density Residential 1 (HDR1)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO,
AND PROVIDING THAT THE ZONED DESIGNATION
OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED, SITUATED IN REXBURG, MADISON
COUNTY, IDAHO, BE CHANGED AS HEREINAFTER
DESIGNATED; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the City of Rexburg, Idaho:
SECTION I: That the zoning map of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, which
is filed with the city clerk thereof, be, and the same is hereby amended and
changed to provide that the hereinafter described property situated in the City of
Rexburg, Madison County, State of Idaho, regarding (#21 00955) to rezone
approximately 155 North 1" West from Light Industrial (LI) to High Density
Residential 1 (HDR1) zone in the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho.
The legal description of the said properties in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho,
are as follows:
Legal Description:
Parcel 2 —1.23 Acres
Situated in the State of Idaho, County of Madison, being part of Lots 1, 2, and 4,
Block 24, Rexburg Townsite, part of section 19. Township 6 north, range 40 east
of B.M., being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said lot 1; Thence south 89°43'28" west, a
distance of 373.15 feet to a point; Thence north 30°07'22" east, a distance of
191.29 feet to a point; Thence north 89°43'30" east, a distance of 276.46 feet to a
point; Thence south 00°14'12" east, a distance of 164.99 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 1.23 acres of land, more or less. The above description was
prepared by Jeffrey M. Rowe, PLS 13856 in July 2021, and is subject to easements
and rights -of -way of record.
SECTION II: That a new zoning map showing these amendments shall
be certified to and declared to be the official zoning map of the City of Rexburg by
passage of this Ordinance by the City Council of the City of Rexburg.
SECTION III: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage,
approval and publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE
MAYOR on this 2nd day of March 2022.
