AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE
CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO; DESCRIBING SAID LANDS
AND DECLARING SAME A PART OF THE CITY OF
REXBURG, IDAHO; AND AMENDING AND CHANGING
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO,
AND THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE SAME UNDER THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REXBURG,
IDAHO; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the lands hereinafter described are contiguous and adjacent to the City of
Rexburg, Idaho, and have been laid off, subdivided or platted, and/or the City has been
requested to annex the same to the City of Rexburg, Idaho; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, that
the hereinafter described properties is subject to annexation to the City of Rexburg under
and pursuant to the provisions of Section 50-222 - Category A, Idaho Code, and that said
lands should be annexed to and become a part of the City of Rexburg, Idaho; and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the zoning of the affected territory for report and
recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Planning and Zoning
Commission made its report and recommendations for zoning classification of the
hereinafter described properties proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the proper classification under the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Rexburg, Idaho,,for the properties to be annexed is as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, AS FOLLOWS:
Location L• the properties located at approximately 1154 McJon Ln Parcels
RP04JM00010020 and RP04JM000ORD01 in Madison County, Idaho, will retain the existing
zoning Rural Residential 1 (11111);
Location 2: the properties located at approximately South 5' West and University Blvd,
Parcels RP06N4OE314103 and RP06N4OE314120 in Public Facilities (PF);
Location 3: the properties located at approximately 1365 and 1371 N 2"d E in Transitional
Agriculture (TAG); and
Location 4: the properties located at approximately 702 N 9d' E Parcels RP06N40E21CR01,
RP06N4OE21CR00, and RP06N4OE200618 in Transitional Agriculture (TAG) and Rural
Residential 1 (RR1) zones in the Impact Area for the City of Rexburg.
These properties are hereby annexed to the City of Rexburg and are hereby declared to be a
part of the City of Rexburg, Idaho (#21 00621).
The property at (Location 3) approximately 1365 and 1371 N Td E will be rezoned from
Transitional Agriculture (TAG) to Community Business Center (CBC) zone. The property
at (Location 4) approximately 702 N 9' E Parcels RP06N40E21CR01, RP06N4OE21CR00,
and RP06N40E200618 will be rezoned from Transitional Agriculture (TAG) and Rural
Residential 1 (RR1) to Public Facilities (PF) zone.
