This development will provide a nice and affordable housing option for both longstanding and new Rexburg
residents, specifically new and younger families, and single working professionals. With the inflation of home
prices in the past 18 months, it proves difficult for the next generation of home-grown Rexburg residents to
afford to stay without a mix of housing types. This is an ideal location for multifamily in that it is near a
commercial center (Walmart), other multifamily (the Grove Apartments), and it is on a main road that wouldnâ
€™t be ideal for single family residences. It is not in the middle of the established downtown, so as not to affect
the feel or the fiber of the community while still providing the much needed housing.

We had a "Ready Team Meeting" on December 17, 2021, and received a positive reception from all involved.
We recognize the nostalgic nature of this site to the community and would like to pay tribute to it somehow in the
