Council Members,
I am writing this letter in opposition to the proposed change of the property at 154 N. 4tn E from
LDR2 to MDR1. I, along with my family, live in the neighborhood of this property
The city of Rexburg already has plenty of areas around town where new apartments have been,
and are being built. I believe that it is important to keep the designated Low Density Residential
areas for the people that choose to live in quieter areas and neighborhoods. What is the point of
planning and zoning our community if we are willing to change said plans every time a developer
wants to build something that does not meet the requirements?
I respectfully ask that you follow the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission
and keep the zoning as it is now designated.
