NOTICE:
• A Complete set of approved plans, along with permit must be kept on the premises during construction
• The permit will become null and void in the event of any deviation from the accepted drawings
• No foundation, structural, electrical, mechanical nor plumbing work shall be concealed without approval
• No work shall be done on any part of the building beyond the point indicated in each successive inspection without approval. No structural
framework or any part of the building or any underground work shall be covered or concealed without being inspected.

Building Permit Inspection Sequence
Type of Inspections — For on -site construction, from time to time the building official, upon notification from the permit holder or his agent, shall make or
cause to be made any necessary inspection and shall either approve that portion of the construction as completed or shall notify the permit holder of his or her
agent wherein the same fails to comply with the adopted codes.

Layout: Lot Corners Staked, Stakes in place for the building
before excavation
Footings: made after poles or piers are set or trench or
basement areas are excavated. Forms & reinforcing is in place.
Vertical reinforcing cut & on job site or tied in place.
Foundation: Shall include excavations for thickened slabs for
the support of bearing walls, partitions, structural supports, or
equipment and special requirements for wood foundations.
All forms and reinforcing steel, etc., shall be in place.
Framing/Sheeting: Prior to plumbing, electrical and
mechanical. Sheeting will be inspected for nail separation.
Rough Plumbing Inspection: Made prior to covering or
concealment prior to framing inspection_
Rough Electrical Inspection: Made prior to covering or
concealment prior to framing inspection.
Rough Mechanical Inspection: Made prior to covering
or concealment prior to framing inspection
Final Framing Inspection: Made after the roof, masonry, all
framing, fire stopping, drafts topping & bracing are in place.
Engineer'T'russ Drawings must be on site to verify installation
& bracing. This includes house wrap.
Insulation: outside envelope inspection for energy code
compliance
Drywall: Made after interior wallboard is in place, before
texture is applied and joint and fasteners are taped and
finished

Final Plumbing & Heating: All systems in place, fixtures
set, ready for occupancy.
Final Electrical: Fixtures and wall covers in place, appliances
in place. Directory completed in panel box.
Final Mechanical: Natural Gas or L.P. gas all appliances in
place. Ready for occupancy.
Final Septic System: After septic tank & drain field are in
Place prior to concealment
Final Insulation Inspection: Form brought into out office
certifying energy code compliance. Insulation measuring stick
must be in place.
Final Elevation: Required by Elevation Certificate if building
is located in the flood plain
Final Inspection: Made after the building is completed and
ready for occupancy.
House Numbers: Installed
Occupancy Permit: Issued when, on final inspection,
building is ready to occupy.
Other Inspections: In addition to the called inspections
above, the building department may make or require any
other inspection to ascertain compliance with this code and
other laws enforced by the building department.
The permit holder or his agent shall maintain this record. I have read the above and n411 comply in my req�ertr for in spections bygiving a V HOUR NOTICEpriorfor
inspections to be made. Office hours are from 8:00a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday only. Failure to follow or to miss any of the above inspections
